Ceramic coatings are long-term protective treatments that harden to the applied surface forming a shielding layer. Ceramic coatings, also known as nano or nano-ceramic coatings, protect surfaces from UV rays, repel water (hydrophobic), resist stains and harsh chemicals, and produce an easy-to-clean surface.
Once the areas of application are treated with a ceramic coating, they should reflect a deep shine and have increased water beading capabilities. The durability of the ceramic coating is dependent on the type of ceramic coating used, usage and washing of the vehicle, and whether or not the vehicle’s ceramic coating is correctly applied and maintained.

Detailing task 21: Ceramic Paint Coating
Once the vehicle lamps/lights are restored using a compound and polish, follow with a protective sealant coating to extend the surface life of the lamps and act as a guard against further hazing and damage.
Auto Valet does not currently offer ceramic coatings; however, are diligently working to bring ceramic coatings to the Auto Valet product line-up soon. Use BEAD BUILDER as a ceramic coating maintainer for surfaces already applied with a ceramic coating.
